Rapid Needs Assessment After Typhoon Ompong

Following the landfall of Typhoon Mangkhut last September 15, 2018, PILCD conducted a rapid assessment from September 16-21 targeting the province of Benguet and Mt. Province in the Cordillera Region and northern part of Zambales province in Region 3.

This assessment is part of the joint assessment conducted with Life Haven Independent Living Center and Assistance and Cooperation for Community Resilience (ACCORD) with support from Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund (ASB).

The objective of the rapid needs assessment is to determine the humanitarian situation of affected population in above mentioned areas; identify gaps and needs and provide recommendation based on the 5 Key Inclusion Musts – Identification, Accessibility, Participation, Empowerment and Rights.
